Out of the hundreds of entrepreneurs we’ve helped

My name is Ezra Boafo
Attending Trampoline CIC’s business course was a surefire way of taking me from standing on the sidelines ‘umming’ and ‘aahhing’ with a business idea, to actually launching it officially before the end of the course. It also got me to focus on what it was I actually wanted to do, as well as assess the viability of it as something which could not only find its feet, but go the distance. This is why it was both a pleasure and an honour to be asked to be a mentor for Trampoline CIC’s batch of new recruits who are doing the business course this year.

Yes, there’s the whole cliche about ‘giving back’, but I see it more as being a thing of ‘paying it forward’, and hopefully inspiring others to do the same. Plus, having been on the course myself, I can appreciate what many of the participants are required to go through, especially those that are looking to take the seed of a business idea and then nurture it until it becomes something that they — as well as others, recognise as being a business.
That being said, for some, especially those creatives who are dealing with ‘imposter syndrome’, they may never feel as though they have a ‘business’ — but that’s another story. The important thing is to have fun with it, and Live the Journey, making the most of what you have, so that you find your tribe of supporters; those that will sometimes make the hard decision between buying your item/service, or paying a bill. Most of us have been there ourselves, so we know they exist.
Also, for those who are struggling to decide on which idea to go for, ask yourself, “If I had no money coming in from it for the next 6 months, and nothing else, which idea would I rather work on? Which one do I have the love and the passion for? Which one would I sacrifice for? Lose sleep for? Go hungry for?” …There’s your answer! And yes, I know there’s another side to that too, but let’s not complicate things at this point.
On the course, I found business collaborators, like-minded allies, and possible friends; as well as humble go-getters that I’ve been inspired by!
Come for the knowledge, the insights and the info; but if you’re open, you’ll both get and give so much more. I promise you.

We regularly host events to help our members promote their businesses. Check out some of the pictures below.

We are supported by funding and donor agencies, business incubators, voluntary and community organisations as well as commissioning and contracting agencies including local authorities, corporations, housing associations and developers.
Regeneration can often feel like something that happens to a community, but these organisations work with us to ensure the individuals in their communities are empowered and have agency and benefit tangibly from the developments taking place in their area. We have the shared desire to promote self sufficiency and ensure these businesses are long lasting.
Those who support us contribute to helping us preserve the character and spirit of local communities in times of change, ensuring the existing skills, knowledge and diversity at grassroot level are included and valued.
The benefits of our support programmes are wide ranging; they include
Improved community development
Community cohesion
Increased social and financial mobility
Stronger community relations
